Bruno Hardt, lawyer in Brazil
Information in English for clients abroad and foreign residents.
Bruno Hardt is a lawyer admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association, Santa Catarina Section, under No. 79,648. He holds a law degree from FURB (Blumenau, 2026). Before admission he interned at the Santa Catarina State Court, at the Santa Catarina Public Prosecutor’s Office and at the Attorney General’s Office of the Municipality of Pomerode, and since 2024 he has drafted public-law litigation for law firms.
He practises Brazilian law only. He does not advise on the law of any other country, and where a matter also depends on foreign law – a divorce to be recognised abroad, an estate with assets in two countries – his part is the Brazilian side of it, in coordination with counsel there.
Areas of practice
Civil law, including family and succession – divorce, child custody and support, probate and division of estates (inventário e partilha), adult guardianship (curatela) and the Brazilian steps that a person living abroad still needs a lawyer in Brazil to take – as well as contracts, civil liability and consumer disputes with banks, telecom companies and brokers over charges and fraud.
Criminal matters on the victim’s side: private prosecution (queixa-crime), the victim’s complaint that allows a public prosecution to start (representação), and participation as assistant to the prosecution.
Public law, with an emphasis on civil-service examinations (concursos públicos) and on the review of administrative acts.
Where and how
